How can I delete my
account?
As much as we hate to see a member leave,
we understand there are several reasons why someone might want to do so.
To delete your account, simply click 'Settings' at the top, then the 'Delete
Account' tab.
It will ask you if you're sure, this is your final chance, if you click submit,
everything will be deleted. Effectively removing all trace of you ever being
here.
If you're a new member, and you decide to delete your account, you will have to
wait 48 hours before being able to create a new account.
I've lost my
password, how can I get it back?
You dummy. Although you're only human after
all! Try to sign in and if it fails, you will be given the option to retrieve
your password.
If you've tried this, and it didn't work, then please contact an admin.
Why is my account suspended/banned?
If you've found that your account is
limited, then it's because you've done something bad on this website.
There is no limit to the things that can get you banned, but a few include
uploading explicit imagery, harassment and uploading fake images.
Can I change my username?
Certainly! Just click 'Settings' and edit
it there, of course it will need to be an available username and your previous
recent activity will be removed.
Can I be an admin?
Benji, the site owner, only allows close
friends to be admins. So the short answer is no.
This person keeps bugging me, what can I do?
If you're being harassed then it's strongly
recommended that you add the user to your block list.
You can also report the user to be investigated by an administrator.
Someone is stealing
my/someone else's pictures, what can I do?
To have this report taken seriously, you
will need to take a picture of yourself, holding a bit of paper with your
username followed by @ EE or EmoEarth.
The picture must be a clear shot of you. Once completed, send the image to
fakes@emoearth.com, fake accounts are
deleted and added to the Hall of Shame.
This person has
objectionable imagery/material on their profile.
Images mustn't be explicit in any way,
shape or form. This includes nudity, blood, cutting images and racist related
pictures.
If you find someone who breaks this rule, please report them, and they'll be
deleted immediately.
How do I block someone from viewing my profile and sending me
messages?
If someone is annoying you, then simply
click 'Settings', scroll to the bottom, and enter their name into the block
list.
I changed my mind,
how do I unblock someone?
Click 'Settings', scroll to the bottom and
delete their name, then click 'Save Changes'.
I can't upload or delete a display picture or when I do, it just
appears as a black blob!
It's probably down to a technical problem
rather than a problem with your file.
Simply contact an admin and they will fix it.
How do I add a
layout to my profile?
To add a layout, you'll need some basic CSS
knowledge, click '[Edit]' next to profile, and then the 'Profile Settings' tab.
There you will find the CSS box.
Of course not everyone knows how to use CSS, so if you scroll down a bit more on
that page, you will see pre-made layouts, click one and then 'Save Changes'.
How do I get rid of
my 'Recent Activity' box on my profile?
Click 'Settings' and untick all the boxes
under 'Recent Activity Privacy'.
How do I add HTML to
my profile?
You can add HTML to all field on your
profile, including your about me, additional information and favourite music.
People say they are
unable to comment me, why is this happening?
This is usually down to a formatting error
in one of your fields. Go through each profile box, making sure you've closed
all HTML tags.
If the problem persists, contact an admin.
My profile, it's all
messed up! I must of put something in the wrong place?
Most likely you did! Best thing you can do
is remove parts of your profile until it begins to look normal again.
How do I set my
profile so only certain people can see it?
Click '[Edit]' next to profile, then the 'Profile
Settings' tab. At the bottom of this page, you can decide who is able to view
your profile.
Where are the stars?
Fear not! They're being repaired and
optimized. They'll be back soon! And no, you haven't lost any.
Where can I find how
many stars I have?
They're viewable just under your image on your
homepage.
How do I earn them?
Easy! Just get comments and votes! You can
also sign up for partner sites which will give you a huge boost in stars.
What can I use them
for?
You can use them to get cool stuff! Like
games consoles, music and clothes vouchers and a variety of sweets.
Can I buy more
stars?
No, that would be pointless. Silly.
Where can I find the chatroom?
At the top, click the 'Chat' link.
Are there any rules?
Yes! No spamming, advertising, being a complete and
utter bastard. Module will kick you out if you break these rules.
How do I create a
room?
Once logged in, at the top, click 'Add'.
Do I have to use my
username and password to log in?
No! Although pretending to be an
administrator will result in a ban.
How do I know who is
an administrator?
In the user list, they will have a small
'A' icon next to their name.
I've been banned by

Module bans are lifted after 10 hours.
Admin bans are permenant.
